Who else thinks it is a shame about Slumdog child star being homeless?
It is almost impossible for me to believe that one of the child stars of Slumdog Millionaire is on the streets. He should have been paid enough to have a decent home, so why is he living in squallor? He helped the movie make millions. How can they just turn their backs on him?
Suzan, it is in today’s news that his house was demolished and they were thrown into the streets.
The major thing that bothers me most, other than children living like that, is that I feel the movie exploited him without adequate compensation.
I read about it today. Even though I didn’t watch the movie yet but it’s sickening. They should at least get more than what they deserve. They said something about receiving a salary worth a person 3 months salary. Thats bs. Lets say we make 2k a month average. That means they paid their star only 6k. Well besides all of those, there’s more to it. I think it’s VERY VERY scheming to do the payment when they are 18. I mean, WTF is that??!!? 18? If the kids are under 18, then pay their parents NOW! They hella need the money. And the fact that they got to still be in school or something, how can you go to school if you don’t have a house? That’s all dirty planning. I say, they should just give what ever the heck they are planning to give right now. And give them a small house as a reward. Dosen’t have to be a big house, just a smalll house with 2 rooms is good.
