MTV Music Award Show 1 and 2 What’s it worth ?
My wife has some items that she received when she went to the first and second MTV music awards . I can’t seem to figure out were to look for something like this . She has autographed programs , some tickets , Hell she even has confetti she picked off of the ground . She has a VIP invitation that was sent to her ex boyfriends Dad ( Bill Bell of Cablevision ) . I know that Cindi Lauper , Glen Fry and Philip Bailey of Earth Wind and Fire among others signed the programs . We were just wondering if it had any value other the sentimental . This is a relic from the past when MTV played music . Thanks for your response.

Seriously though….
since MTV decided to give it’s three biggest
awards at the VMA’s to Britney Spears out of pity
I can tell you that any credibility they had was
completely thrown out the window….
your personal collection is more than likely not
worth as much now as it was before —
I remember back in the 80′s
when MTV was RAD
in those days the
“concerned minority” was actually
AFRAID of MTV
now its just a channel I skip over
to get to VH1 classic…
The fact that they still have a
video music award show
for a channel that never
shows videos leaves me to
wonder why…
