Can you help with the name of an old Martin Sheen film.?
I remember watching a Martin Sheen film back in the early 70s I think. It was about a man (Martin Sheen) who kidnapped a young girl and took her to look after him in a small log cabin in rural America. He kept her there initially against her will and she slowly gained his trust to allow her to go to the nearest store to buy curtain material. The shopkeeper recognised the material as a special order and linked the girl as the one reported missing. Eventually the sheriff and helpers found the cabin, but by that time the girl had fallen in love with her captor. He was fatally wounded. Can anyone help with the name of this film?
The name of the movie was “Sweet Hostage” and the girl was played by Linda Blair of “The Exorcist” fame.
