Are you in doubt about natural alternative remedies? You are not alone. I too was a non believer. Raised from the time I was born to believe that the only way to cure any type of illness was through Doctor prescribed medicinal drugs. Anything else was just old ladies folklore nonsense. My dear and sweet mother-in-law became ill from melanoma cancer. Of all places for this cancer to be, it was wrapped around her uretha. At 88yrs. of age we knew she would never be able to withstand chemo or radiation. Our dillemma? How were we going to be able to help her? If you knew my wife, she was not about to let her mother go from this world. Doctors painted a very bleak picture for her recovery. Even if she managed to pull through the removal of the cancer there was a great chance the cancer would return in 3-6 months.
My wife ,Denise, begins searching for an answer. She spent a whole weekend on the computer searching and reading every article she could about treating this cancer so that her mother may continue to survive. What did she finally find? Her prayers were answered when she found out about an alternetive herbal remedy called Essiac Tea. Founded by Rene Caisse who discovered it from the Canadian Ojibway Indians. Yes this Old Indian Hokus Pokus was going to heal my wife’s mother?!! I for one was not convinced. But this was my wife’s answer for her mom and she was reaching out in desperation. How could I not back her up? Never did I show her I had doubts because she was such an emotional wreck. She needed my support. I just prayed to God she had in fact found a miracle.
Before Mom even has her operation for removal of the cancerous tumor Denise starts having her Mom drink the Essiac Tea. After the operation Doctors tell us the awful news. They are sure they were not able to remove all the cancer. Now they feel that the cancer is more likely to return with a vengence within the 3-6 month time period. Mom comes home to recover and Denise continues to brew Essiac Tea for Mom. Mom has her first 3 month checkup. No sign of cancer!! Mom has her 6 month checkup. No sign of cancer!! Mom gets clean bill of health at 9 months also. One year later and no sign of cancer!! Halleluia!!!!
During the past year not only Mom has been taking Essiac, but so have my wife and I. My wife is a type2 diabetic. She was having a hard time even with taking glucophage, keeping her blood sugar count down. Since taking Essiac Tea faithfully her numbers are great. Her dosage of glucophage has been cut in half. Another plus for her has been how Essiac has affected her thyroid. For 30yrs. my wife has been on the same dosage amount of levoxyl. Since taking Essiac faithfully her dosage amount has been lowered twice.
As for me, I was drinking Essiac Tea faithfully for an enlarged prostate. I get my PSA checked every 6 months since my brother developed prostate cancer. Last year when they checked my PSA it had jumped up from 2.3 to 4.7. Our Doctor wanted me to get a biopsy taken of my prostate. I asked him if there was any drug I could take to lower my PSA count. He told me NO! I told him that I was not going to have a biopsy taken. Instead I was going to do something natural to lower my PSA. Surprisingly he did not argue. He said OK. I think it was because he saw how well Mom was doing. We go to the same Family Doctor. Anyway after drinking Essiac faithfully I went back for my PSA checkup. I waited 8 months to give Essiac enough time to do it’s thing. After 8 months my PSA checkup came back at 2.4.
