Poster Proof
Your passion is writing and playing your own music. The only problem is, nobody has ever heard of your stuff yet, save perhaps your unappreciative neighbors and your dog Ringo. Get people interested about your music by printing a poster of your band do it yourself style. Below are four easy steps in coming up with your own hip band poster.
How to Get Started With Your Poster:
1. Know how much money you have got. Assessing your group’s financial capacity will help you determine the type of poster to print. It would be much cheaper to print your poster by bulk. Look for online printing companies that give excellent offers and discounts.
2. Come up with the band’s image. “Music first before everything else” is a good working band philosophy. However, deciding on how your group’s image should be packaged wouldn’t hurt either. Printing a poster design that gives people an idea on how your group sounds will help attract your target audience.
3. Identify your target audience. Playing the right music for the wrong audience is a very frustrating experience. So is wasting precious time and material by randomly stapling your posters in the all the wrong places. Plan ahead by identifying specific areas frequented by people who will most likely dig your music.
4. Find the right people to do the job. You would not want a run-of-the-mill poster printing company to jeopardize your band’s budding career. There are superb online printing sites that you should check out to do the job for you.
