how to get signed (music)?
like im an artist i have a myspace page anyway and everything, but i wanna get signed by akon or t pain or lil wayne ect… so anyway what kind of sites hav ethat. or at least get signed by a company, like slip n slideand konvict, cash money, like them. but how do artists these days get signed so easily?
HA! I love the last line, “Signed so easily.” The fact is, it’s NOT easy. The best way is to just keep getting more and more people to listen to your stuff. If a record label rep sees your popularity, or goes to your gig and sees a voice that might sell some CDs, he’ll hook you up. You can send letters to different record labels (just google them), and tell them to check out your music, but the odds are against you. Everyone wants to be the next hit singer. PS, Akon, T-Pain, and Lil Wayne are ARTISTS and not Record Company Owners (except for possibly Akon, I think he works for himself). They were found just like you might be. So, just keep on makin’ some sweet tunes. Let the creativity flow man. Good luck.
