Which is the best written Star Trek franchise?
I’ve been watching some old Voyager episodes and re-discovered just how bad Star Trek can be (not that I don’t like it all the same).
Which franchise of Star Trek has the best dialog and plot lines? Sometimes they change staff between seasons, so are particular seasons better or worse?
The original series’ stories lines were very well written and TNG further developed it’s story and better effects. Voyager’s stories were very good between 1-4 seasons, 5 and above most of the stories overall sucked. Some episodes had good parts in them but overall it sucked, they tried really weird ideas even for Star Trek in those seasons and had relationships that either didn’t make sense or weren’t developed properly. The orginal series stories were mostly created very well and influential because at that time there was a lot of civil issues and Star Trek was able to talk about those problems in a positive and creative way.
