Roger Waters (Pink Floyd) or Pete Townshend (The Who)?
Two of the greatest songwriters in the history of Rock & Roll. I can’t decide who I like better. Waters’ lyrics tend to be deeper but Townshend’s songs are generally more catchy (superficial but true). Both of them penned two of the greatest rock operas (The Wall and Tommy) and both have connected with millions of angsty teenagers from each generation since. So who is it?
